I attended a truly great fundraiser last week, in honour of Princess Margaret Hospital and National Cancer Hero Day.

My close friend, Nini, of @stylebytext, styled the fashion show and did an amazing job!! The eight models were all cancer survivors and were so incredibly inspiring.

There was a photographer there who was offering head shots. This is the good one 🤣🤣.

All in all, it was a powerful, meaningful night and I was so glad to be in attendance.

We just pulled out all the Christmas decorations and filled the tree with tons of memories. This particular ornament always gets me when I pull it out. My sister, @cliftonhill.co, gave it to us at Christmas 2012, to remind us that even though they were moving away, they’d always be home for the holidays. They kept that promise for the 9.5 years they lived in California and London. Thankfully they moved back to the ‘Coke 3 years ago so we don’t have to do the sad goodbyes after Christmas any longer.

Last night we went to see Leon Bridges, because he is our boy Leon’s namesake! Leon was incredible. Equally amazing was the show’s opening act, @hermanosgutierrez. Two brothers with an incredible, unique and hypnotic sound. We listen to their music at every open house we host (we seem to have moved on from The Bahamas) and thoroughly enjoy all of their music. If you haven’t heard of them, give them a listen.

Then we got lost in the Eaton’s Centre at 11:15pm trying to get access to our car. They were fully installing Christmas decor there at night. It was surreal.

That’s my story for this morning.
